Prohibition Era Cocktails: How to make the Colony Cocktail drink.


The Colony cocktail got it's name from the Colony, a speakeasy in New York.




The Colony Recipe:
Ingredients
• 1 1/2 oz gin
• 3/4 oz grapefruit juice
• 2 tsp maraschino


Procedure:
Shake well with cracked ice.
Strain into chilled cocktail glass.
