Prohibition Era Cocktails: The "White Lady" recipe using Gin and Cointreau.

Prohibition Era cocktails: How to make the White Lady cocktail from the roaring 20's.
This ladies cocktail that can pack a punch.

This mixed drink recipe dates back to 1910.



White Lady Recipe:
Ingredients:
• 1 1/2 oz. Gin (Bombay Sapphire, Hendrick's Gin, Beefeater, Tanqueray, etc.)
• 1 1/2 oz. Cointreau
• 1 1/2 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
• 1/2 Egg White (Optional)

Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice.
Then strain and pour into a Cocktail Glass.
